About Gerard.
I have always had the love for music. My earliest memories are walking up and down the hallways of my grandparents listening to the morning march each day on 1320 CKEC a local radio station, and the multiple times I could be found marching up and down the streets of the Pictou Lobster Carnival along side bands in the parade when I was just a toddler.
I left Nova Scotia in 1993 after graduation from Stellarton High School. I found my way to Alberta where I spent most of my time supporting individuals with disabilities. I met a beautiful woman, (Karen), in the year 2000 and she became my life companion, and my wife in 2001. We have 3 children, Shayla, Sierra, and James. In 2009 we decided to move from the hustle and bustle of Calgary to back home in Pictou County. Once back here I continued my involvement in making a difference in the lives of others. I was employed at Highland Residential Community Services for approx 5 years. While at the same time I started up KGB Entertainment.
I began my dream of running my own business in entertainment in 2010. I continue to make a difference through many benefits and fundraisers I have helped with. I am very passionate about helping others.
I truly love singing and entertaining people. I enjoy all genres of music and believe music has the ability to heal, transcends all cultures throughout our history and really is a universal language.
Cheers!
